Special Steel Sections Ltd manufactures hot rolled small steel sections. We purchase our raw material only from approved and certified steel mills in the form of round bars, which are supplied with a certificate of chemical analysis and mechanical properties according to the specification ordered.
Our hot rolled steel products are reheated and rolled from round bar manufactured via the Basic Oxygen Steelmaking Process (BOS) or Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) route only. They are also rolled from killed steel and supplied in the ‘as rolled' condition only.
(BOS route products typically contain between 10-25% scrap steel. EAF route products contain 100% scrap steel).
We currently supply hot rolled steel to a number of standard specifications and customers' own specified requirements. Our experienced sales team will always be happy to provide you with any information required regarding our manufacturing process or quality compliance.
